"Building a Business Community Through Networking"
Business Training and Development:
Through our strategic partnership with S.C.O.R.E. and the U.S Small Business Administration and Merced College, including the Customer Service Academy, the Chamber is able to offer the local business community services, which can assist them in strengthening their business and increasing their profits.
Direct Referrals:
Whenever an inquiry is made to the Chamber office regarding a specific type of business or service in the area, Chamber members are directly given as the source and contact for these services first. Additionally, inquirers often purchase a list of the Chamber members as a best business directory. This list is also available to all members, one copy free of charge.
Ribbon Cuttings:
Members attend a ceremony to recognize a business new or old into the Chamber family: the Chamber arranges this event press coverage (including photos in our Newsletter as well as local papers) government and civic personnel are always present.
Quarterly Membership Luncheons:
The Chamber facilitates a quarterly luncheon for members to meet each other, network and enjoy a guest speaker whose topic is relevant to business concerns. One of these meetings in the year is held as a Breakfast.
Chamber Coffees:
The Chamber co–hosts a weekly mixer and brings members, local dignitaries and press together for a morning of business networking. This is a perfect opportunity for the host business to showcase their services and create long lasting business relationships.
